Health Building

Good health is perhaps the greatest gift that we can experience in our life, for it serves as the foundation for enjoying the rest of life’s experiences. Too often we take our health for granted, or when faced with challenges, wonder if there was something that could have been done to prevent the onset of difficulties.

The truth is that good health is something that we can create for ourselves, either in the wake of health challenges, or before they start. Building our health is like working out, only we are focused on the whole of ourselves, and how our whole life can create and maintain good health.

Through a combination of bodywork, diet, exercise, and a positive outlook on life, you can cultivate your constitutional vitality leading to mental and emotional resiliency along with a highly functional immune system that will ward off disease. This also involves a shift in perspective, learning to see health not as simply a symptom free state, but rather as an experience of buoyant vitality that leads to an enhanced enjoyment of life

If you are committed to regaining your health or if you are already working to create a healthy lifestyle, the health building program is for you. The four aspects of a Health Building are:

    1. Bodywork: Regular sessions create and maintain an open and balanced flow of energy- the key to good health. Bodywork takes you beyond what we can do for yourself, and serves as a regular tune-up for the mind and body.
    2. Diet: Simple changes will improve your digestive efficiency, increasing nutrient absorption and allowing your body to maintain a healthy weight.
    3. Exercise: Understanding the different types of exercise will allow you to design a routine that best serves your needs.
    4. Positive Attitude: Biodynamic Bodywork can reveal the ways in which attitudes and beliefs create positive or negative experiences in your life. With my coaching and support you can honestly explore and release negative belief systems, and envision positive patterns of thought to orient your life in a new direction. Specific difficulties can be addressed through bodywork and referrals to appropriate resources.

Health Building consultations and sessions will put you on the road to greater vitality and wellness. Taking responsibility for your own health gives you a new relationship to your life, allowing you to be the source for your own health and happiness.
